Faldonside Produce Now on Local Menus

From Garden to Plate: New Restaurant Partnerships Bloom

We’re delighted to share that Faldonside Eco’s fresh, seasonal produce is now featured on the menus of two fantastic local restaurants in the Scottish Borders.

This new partnership is a natural extension of our mission to grow nutritious, chemical-free food while supporting local businesses and protecting biodiversity. Each leaf, herb, and vegetable is nurtured in our restored Victorian Walled Garden, where we follow organic and permaculture principles to improve soil health and encourage wildlife.

By sourcing their greens, herbs, and heritage vegetables from us, these restaurants are not only supporting a local grower but are also reducing food miles and connecting their diners more closely with the land. It’s a true field-to-forkcollaboration.

Our signature salad boxes, seasonal veg, and flavour-packed fresh herbs are all grown without synthetic fertilisers or pesticides — instead, we work with nature: composting, companion planting, and using low-impact growing techniques. It’s this approach that gives our produce the vibrant taste and quality that chefs — and their customers — truly appreciate.

We’re proud to support like-minded chefs who understand that flavour starts in the soil. These early collaborations mark the start of something exciting, and we’re looking forward to expanding our network of hospitality partners in the future.

Coming Soon: You’ll also be able to order our produce directly through our online shop (launching soon), so you can enjoy the same garden-fresh flavours at home.

In the meantime, if you’re dining out in Melrose or the surrounding area — keep an eye out for Faldonside produce on the menu!
