Step away from noise and urgency and into a short wellbeing-focused creative writing session set within the peaceful landscape of the Scottish Borders. Held at Faldonside Eco, this workshop offers a gentle space to slow down, breathe deeply, and let creativity emerge naturally.
Guided writing prompts and reflective exercises with creative expert Dr Jessica McDonald are designed to support wellbeing, reduce mental clutter, and encourage a more intuitive, compassionate approach to writing. There’s no pressure to perform or share — just time to be present, to notice the natural world around you, and to translate that awareness onto the page.
Suitable for all levels, this session is as much about restoring creative energy as it is about writing itself. You’ll leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and quietly inspired, with new words and practices you can return to long after the workshop ends.
