As winter settles over the estate, come and spend a cosy afternoon in our beautiful Victorian walled garden, learning the art of winter fruit tree pruning.

On Sunday 6th December, 1pm–4pm, we’ll explore how to care for fruit trees through the colder months and encourage healthy, productive growth for the seasons ahead.

We’ll take a look at our established and newly trained apple, pear and plum trees, with a practical demonstration of formative pruning techniques for apple and pear trees.

There’ll be plenty of time to ask questions, share experiences and get advice about your own fruit trees — all gathered around a warming fire, with a plentiful supply of tea, coffee and cake. ☕🔥🍰

Whether you’re new to fruit tree care or looking to build your confidence with pruning, you’re very welcome.
