About Us

Faldonside Eco provides nature and sustainable centred training and event experiences designed to inspire environmental awareness and community wellbeing, as well as boost skills in nature centered living.  We also provide meeting and event space hire.  Our focus is on delivering high-quality, low-impact services in alignment with our environmental values.

Bookings & Payments

Bookings are confirmed once we have received payment or deposit and you have received a written confirmation from Faldonside Eco LLP. All prices are listed in GBP and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment methods accepted: online card payment.

Deposits

Certain events, courses, or venue hires may require a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking and some may require full payment in advance. Deposit amounts and payment details and any deadlines will be outlined in your booking confirmation. Full balance payments are typically due 14 days before the event unless otherwise stated.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations are handled according to our Cancellation & Refund Policy, available on our website or upon request. Please review that policy carefully before booking, as it outlines your rights and our procedures for refunds, rescheduling, and substitutions.

Changes by Faldonside Eco

While we strive to deliver all services as described, we may occasionally need to make adjustments. We reserve the right to modify course content, instructors, or schedules; substitute facilitators or speakers; or relocate an event or meeting to an alternative suitable venue nearby. If we must cancel an event entirely, guests will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future date.

Participant Responsibilities

By attending an event, training, or using our facilities, participants agree to follow all safety instructions and site guidelines, treat the environment and others with respect, and dispose of waste responsibly. We reserve the right to refuse participation or remove any guest who behaves in a manner that is disruptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with our ethos—without refund.  Participants are also reminded that this is our family home and hence we expect participants to act responsibly and respectfully. 

Accessibility & Special Requirements

We strive to make our events and spaces as inclusive and accessible as possible. If you have accessibility needs or dietary requirements, please inform us at least 7 days prior to your booking so we can accommodate you wherever possible.

Liability

Faldonside Eco will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred by participants, except where caused by our negligence. Participants are responsible for their own belongings, health, and safety during their visit. We strongly recommend obtaining personal travel or event insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

Health & Safety

Guests must comply with all health, safety, and fire regulations during their stay or participation. Any accidents or hazards should be reported immediately to Faldonside Eco staff. If outdoor activities are included, guests should dress appropriately for weather and terrain.

Data Protection & Privacy

Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. We only collect information necessary to manage bookings, provide services, and communicate effectively. We never sell or share your data with third parties without consent.

Use of Venue & Equipment

The hirer is responsible for ensuring that meeting or event spaces are used respectfully and left in a tidy condition. Any damage to property, equipment, or facilities may result in repair or replacement charges. Decorations, signage, or displays must be approved in advance to protect surfaces and surroundings.

Photography & Media

During certain events, photographs or videos may be taken for promotional or educational purposes. If you prefer not to be included, please inform us in writing before or during the event.

Force Majeure

Faldonside Eco will not be liable for failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, fire, flooding, pandemics, power outages, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule or refund affected bookings.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.
