Forest Learning Grows at Faldonside Eco
We’re excited to announce a new partnership with The Green Adventure, an inspiring local organisation delivering outdoor learning experiences for children and young people. Starting in 2026, Faldonside Eco will become one of their key host sites for Forest School sessions — creating even more opportunities for children to explore, learn, and thrive in nature.
This collaboration aligns perfectly with our ethos of hands-on, nature-led education. Forest School is a child-centred learning approach that supports holistic development through play, exploration, and supported risk-taking — all in a woodland setting.
At Faldonside Eco, sessions will take place across our rewilded woodlands, wildflower meadows, and riverside glades. Children will have the chance to build dens, track animal signs, craft using natural materials, and develop resilience and confidence through real-world experience.
By working together, we hope to inspire a lifelong love of nature and cultivate the next generation of environmental stewards right here in the Scottish Borders.
