Photography Hides – Quietly Observe Nature

Our purpose-built wildlife photography hides are discreetly placed in prime viewing locations across the estate to give you the best chance of a close-up encounter, without disturbing the animals.

• Woodland Hides: Observe pine martens, badgers, and woodland birds beneath the canopy of our native trees.
• Riverside Hides: Overlooking the tranquil bends of the River Tweed, ideal for spotting otters, herons, and the flash of a kingfisher’s wings.

Each hide includes seating, shelter, and wide sightlines—perfect for photographers, nature watchers, and families.

• Otters: Often seen at dawn or dusk, playing or hunting along the river.
